A Voice Found

About Us

Our Purpose

  • To provide “a voice” — advocacy and support for teenagers and young adults who are at risk of dropping out of school, are unable to envision vocational and career options, or have obstacles to education, training, or employment resources.
  • To develop “a voice” — empowering teenagers and young adults to create their own visions for the future.

Our clients are teenagers and young adults who are without or have limited resources (financial or educational) for private counseling. They are mostly from the under-served, at-risk, and/or low and moderate income communities. Our services will be provided at no cost to those qualifying individuals.

Our History

A Voice Found, Inc., a California nonprofit, public benefit corporation, was established in 2005 to meet the increasing needs of teenagers and young adults who have obstacles or challenges to education, training, and employment. The services are provided through a network of local advocates and programs to support needy teenagers and young adults for their future success.
