Fred Giacomini Agriculture Scholarship
This scholarship was initiated in 2007 to honor a man who, despite dropping out of school to support his infirmed parents and six siblings, was dedicated to agriculture, young people, his community, and the environment. This scholarship will be awarded to those pursuing agricultural related training and education, such as animal science, food science, environmental horticulture, landscaping, viticulture, land conservation.
Clem McCorkel Automotive Technology Scholarship
This scholarship was initiated in 2007 to honor a man who enjoyed a career in the automotive industry which led to his mentoring of young men in the care and maintenance of cars as well as in their athletic pursuits and general development. This scholarship will be awarded to those pursuing automotive technology related training and education, such as automotive maintenance and services, collision repair, heavy equipment maintenance.
Clement McDermott Engineering
& Applied Technology Scholarship
This scholarship was initiated in 2007 to honor a man who, despite battling a war-related heart condition, pursued his education in industrial engineering while supporting his wife and young family. This scholarship will be awarded to those pursuing engineering/applied technology related training and education, such as drafting, surveying, construction management, applied graphics, architecture.
Gene Genochio Industrial
& Trade Techology Scholarship
This scholarship was initiated in 2007 to honor a man who followed in his father’s footsteps as a successful sheet metal worker for over 50 years where he trained and mentored many in his profession. This scholarship will be awarded to those pursuing industrial/trade technology related training and education, such as machine and metals technology, welding, air conditioning/refridgeration, electronics, machine tool and diesel equipment technology, masonry, heavy equipment operation.
